Continuing Medical Education
ICPH 2024 offers opportunities for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit, which recognizes a physician’s participation in continuing medical education and is accepted by hospital credentialing bodies, state medical licensure boards, medical specialty certifying boards, and other organizations.
The College of Family Physicians of Canada credits:
This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Nova Scotia Chapter for up to 13.00 Mainpro+ credits.
The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada credits:
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development. You may claim a maximum of 13.00 hours (credits are automatically calculated).
Mutual recognition and reciprocal agreements of credits
American Academy of Family Physicians:
Members of the American Academy of Family Physicians are eligible to receive Prescribed credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. More information can be found on the AAFP website

Group learning activities (live and online) accredited by a Royal College recognized accredited CPD provider for MOC Program Section 1 credits are eligible for conversion to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. More information can be found on the AMA website
